With this year’s Wales Tourism Week running during February half term, GreenWood Forest Park, took the opportunity to invite its Government representatives to the Park. On Friday 28th March GreenWood welcomed Alun Ffred Jones AM and Hywel Williams MP to discuss topical issues affecting tourism. Other local attraction owners and businesses also attended to join them for coffee and cake.
GreenWood’s Managing Director Stephen Bristow commented “We were delighted that Hywel and Alun Ffred were able to attend. They both have significant influence in policy making on tourism issues at Westminster and in Cardiff, and were able to update us on a variety of matters. Here at GreenWood they were able to speak with local attraction operators, accommodation owners and tourism professionals, and local people whose lives are affected by tourism issues, and responded to questions on a range of subjects.”
